DandyLions Patterns: July 2008

http://dandylionspatterns.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 25, 2008. By Vicki Peterson http:/ purpleisafruit.blogspot.com/. These socks were made with the magic loop method. I knit a littler tighter than others, you might have to do down a 1/2 size. Cast on 64 sts. K1 tbl, P1 around for 5 rows, if you'd like your sock a bit taller ( to cover your ankle knit for 20 - 25 rows). On the same needle that you just finished knitting on slip 1, purl across and slip the last st. Row 1 - p1, *k1, sl1* across to last st, purl last st. Knit next round even.

DandyLions Patterns: Handspun Wrist Wallet

http://dandylionspatterns.blogspot.com/2007/08/handspun-wrist-wallet.html

Sunday, August 19, 2007. This is a super quick project to knit and good for teaching beginners some knitting techniques. Adding the zipper might take you the longest out of the whole project! Worsted weight yarn handspun/dyed looks best but you can use store bought too. And a 4.00mm 32"circ and the same size dpn's. I used a old zipper from some jeans. Cast on 5 sts. Knit each row for 8 inches.if you want your wallet just a tad bigger go for 9 inches. This is where the circ comes in for the magic loop.
