Brian Y's: My maps
http://brianys.blogspot.com/2008/02/my-maps.html
Friday, February 22, 2008. Hey all (probably just Dan and Jason), here are some maps I created. Also American Cycle and Fitness decieded they were cool enough and even put them on their website. Http:/ americancycleandfitness.com/page.cfm? I am now a published map maker. The inspiration for these maps was that I was constatly going to MMBA.org and then looking up where the trails were. Now I can just go here and click on the trail click "to here" and then I have a map. Just click and go no waiting.

Bradbury Mountain Enduro | Reenie
https://reeniecg.wordpress.com/2007/07/31/bradbury-mountain-enduro
Sunday Tom and I headed up to the fine state of Maine for a “short” race put on by the good folks at EFTA. One 30-mile loop through the trails of Bradbury Mountain State park. So when I tell you had fun at the Bradbury Mountain Enduro, you can figure it means I didn’t spend too much time in the pain cave (tm Andy. The singletrack dumped out onto a jeep trail and the course marshall there said “only a 100 yards to the finish! 8221; I said “get out! Laquo; Rocking the Big Wheels – Part III. Blog at WordPre...

You Can Never Have Too Many Lumens | Reenie
https://reeniecg.wordpress.com/2008/10/24/you-can-never-have-too-many-lumens
You Can Never Have Too Many Lumens. I used to hate night riding. The dark, the cold, the 75% reduction in my skill level (bringing me down to about 1.5 skills). I had so many bad night rides, I just gave up on night riding altogether. Then I got an expensive massage. The massage itself was the usual rate, but Nolan. Has to stimulate this economy! Wilderness 101 – Sixth Time’s a Charm | Reenie
https://reeniecg.wordpress.com/2008/07/29/wilderness-101-sixth-times-a-charm
Wilderness 101 – Sixth Time’s a Charm. Short story: 11:05 on the SS – fastest finish ever for me. I spent most of the first 40 miles socializing. About a third of the way up the first climb, a guy on an SS asked if I had done this race before and if I minded if he rode along with me (we’ll call him Delaware, because I forgot his name about 3 seconds after he told me what it was). This exact same thing happened at Lumbejack! Him: It’s Paul. Him: We stayed at the same place. Laquo; What’s Up? Hey, so IR...

An Inconvenient Weekend | Reenie
https://reeniecg.wordpress.com/2008/06/11/an-inconvenient-weekend
As I was yelling to the general population that the guy ran the stop sign, he ran up to me and said “That was me, I’m so sorry! 8221; Then I was completely not mad any more and just sat down to wait for the cops to show up. My original plans for the weekend were:. Sat: LUNA chic MTB ride and bbq with Jimena Florit at her house in CT, which I was insanely psyched about. Sun: 100K Ride for the Cure in Gloucester with Sue in the morning, BBQ w/ our mtb friends in the afternoon. Instead, it was:. You are com...

Mohican 100 Pictures | Reenie
https://reeniecg.wordpress.com/2008/06/02/mohican-100-pictures
I had a good race – only slightly faster than last year. But I suffered a lot less and even managed to take pictures along the way. I’m working on the thousand words, but I’ll post the pictures now, because there are lot of them and it would take me three years to integrate them with the text. We got to the Mohican Lodge early, so we put the bikes together while we waited for our room to be ready. And other members of the Kudzu Mafia on the porch at Camp Nuhop. The inevitable portapottie line. See you in...

Maximus Kick in the Assimus | Reenie
https://reeniecg.wordpress.com/2007/05/08/maximus-kick-in-the-assimus
Maximus Kick in the Assimus. Kind of on a whim, Tom and I headed down to Michaux State Forest in Pennsylvania last weekend to race the 50-mile monster course of the Michaux Maximus. Race, just outside of Gettysburg. We had heard good things about the riding in Michaux state forest – things like “rocky” and “technical” – and figured this would be a good way to check it out. Short version of the race report. Rocks, rocks, rock, long climb, rocks, rocks, long climb rocks, ad nauseum. Happy just to finish.

I’m a Lumberjack and I’m OK | Reenie
https://reeniecg.wordpress.com/2007/06/18/im-a-lumberjack-and-im-ok
I’m a Lumberjack and I’m OK. I’ve had that song. Stuck in my head all weekend. This last week was a blur. We left the house at 4:40am Wed to catch a 6am flight for Detroit (yeah, that’s kind of late… we got to the gate and they were already boarding) and we didn’t get back until 12:30 this morning. I’ve been busy at work all day and just got time to blog up the Lumberjack 100. After we got back to the hotel, I went to put my number plate on the bike and it was missing! No one wanted to pass, so I chugged...
