Sunday, February 24, 2013. Several weeks ago, the photo club that I'm a part of hosted a pastry shoot. Let me just say, there's not much a photog can do with food to make it look interesting, especially when there are 20 other photogs trying to take pictures of the same subject. However, I was able to get a few decent shots. Posted by Photo Fashionista. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). If you don't take the time to look, you'll never manage to see anything. When the actual tournament starts, cameras are not allowed on the course. However, the days before actual play begins are practice rounds for the pros and Waialae CC allows spectators to come inside to watch and photograph these guys play. I was fortunate to see two pro players I knew and one local celebrity there. If you don't take th...

One photog friend told me, "You are now on a whole different level of photography." Another told me, "You will see a big difference because the photos will look so much better and you will never be able to go back (to a cropped frame camera).". Taken with Nikon 20mm f/2.8 lens. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. I'm Glad You Came. Yesterday, I took a trip to the east side of the island to capture the sunset and the moonrise. I was extremely unprepared! I didn't bring a tripod and the only lens I had with me was 40mm macro. But, making do with what I had, I am pretty satisfied with what I came up with. Posted by Photo Fashionista. What he does is amazing! Here are some of the photos I took from the workshop. ISO 200, f/4.8, shutter 1/60. ISO 400, f/5.3, shutter 1/80. The f...
