The Fun World of the Cooks. Official Newsblog of Matt and Becky Cook. Friday, December 28, 2012. And so, with the year winding to a close, it's time to go over what us Cooks have been up to. If I'm honest, it's been a mixed bag of a year. 2012 was meant to be a year where me and Bexs settled things down and looked at what was to come next. But instead it was a bit of an up and down year. Bits 'n Pieces. Random and Varied Thoughts. Review of ‘Surprised By Hope’ by N.T. (Tom) Wright. Http:/ www.amazon.co.uk/Surprised-Hope-Tom-Wright/dp/028105617X. This is a very useful book and restores a biblical base to certain aspects of faith that were lost or compromised through lack of biblical knowledge by some in the Middle Ages, who introduced phrases like ‘going to heaven’ (which I still have not found in the New Testament). How can time still apply then, when we go into eternity? Their bodies ha...

Bits 'n Pieces. Random and Varied Thoughts. Ryan O Shaughnessy – ‘No Name’ – Britain’s Got Talent 2012. This is so beautiful – written and sung by Ryan, 19. Sadly he did not win in last night’s Britain’s Got Talent Final (came 4th or 5th), but I am sure he will be recording songs from now on, as he touched so many hearts. Bits 'n Pieces. Random and Varied Thoughts. I post this not because I have totally achieved it myself, but am always open to continuing to learn, about myself and other things. From http:/ www.emotionalcompetency.com/candor.htm. Clear thinking is the difficult and essential prerequisite to clear expression. This entry was posted on May 14, 2012, in Day To Day. Bits 'n Pieces. Random and Varied Thoughts. Aretha by Rumer (Sarah Joyce). LOVE this singer and her voice so much…as does Burt Bacharach who invited her (and she is a Brit, like me) to sing one of his songs in the recent awards ceremony for him and songwriting partner Hal David at The Whitehouse. Her ‘story’ is so interesting,. But her voice is truly beautiful and amazing. This entry was posted on May 14, 2012, in Music. Review of ‘Surprised By Hope’ by N.T. (Tom) Wright →. The Fun World of the Cooks. Official Newsblog of Matt and Becky Cook. Friday, March 11, 2011. 2011: The Story So Far. Well, here we are squarely into 2011, and so it's time for another update on what the Cooks have been up to. 2001 started on a somewhat downbeat note, as I attended three funerals within the space of a few weeks. One of them involved a trip to Lincoln to say goodbye to a very close friend of Becky's family. They will all be missed. Friday, March 11, 2011. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Skip to search - Accesskey = s. How NOT to promote your next album. By garethduffield on May 13, 2009. If a producer or presenter discovers you on Myspace or anywhere else and requests a CD here’s NOT how to handle it;. 1) Ignore the request or leave for months by which time you’ve been forgotten about. 2) Ask the person to buy the CD or download it from a website, we don’t always have time to download things and we personally listen to 90% of the new music we get on CD in the car. Often it’s a pov...
