The David Digest

Tuesday, February 05, 2008. I get all fired up every time an election comes around. I think I'd be one of those over zealous types that lives for politics if I didn't value my non-school/non-work time so much. Anyway, the entire process amazes me. And since hardly anyone shows up for them compared to a general election your vote counts several times as much! Now where else can you get a great story like that, have influence on the direction of the nation, and feel like you're making a difference? I knew ...

The David Digest: December 2005

http://daviddigest.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Its Begining To Look A Lot Like Christmas. For my other self imposed blogging rules. Also, please feel free to leave a comment on any of the posts. I get my kicks out of comments. We have a big week planned, everything from meeting my extended family to skiing, to a wedding reception. It should be a great week! Many of you know or have heard my cousin play. Have a Merry Christmas! Posted by david at Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Tuesday, December 13, 2005. Only entry stairs ...

The David Digest: August 2005

http://daviddigest.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 25, 2005. The past three days I've spent at Yosemite National Park. I was very impressed. They have beautiful tall redwood trees everywhere, tall waterfalls, crystal clear rivers, and more rock formations than you can shake a stick or any other large pointy object at. We didn't have reservations, but we were able to find the nicest camp site of any there at a small backpackers camp just north of a main camping area, complete with running water and flushing toilets! At the half way point ...

The David Digest: May 2005

Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Three day weekends go by way too quickly! It was certainly nice to have some time to recharge this weekend. Back to the work world now. Time to make some money so I can afford to make some more real memories. Posted by david at Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Sunday, May 22, 2005. Maybe, but it doesn't go down fast enough. I had to break out a few towels upstairs. Posted by david at Sunday, May 22, 2005. Monday, May 16, 2005. Weddings: It's Go Time! Let the festivities begin! It was a great...

The David Digest: June 2005

Sunday, June 26, 2005. I'm not usually one to let my mind wander, but I also don't usually receive strange phone calls like this. I wasn't sure what to do, had the phone been stolen? Had my cousin been mugged or abducted? I ended up calling her parents. They assured me that she was with Columbian friends who frequently spoke Spanish and not to worry. I felt like an idiot. Sunday, October 30, 2005. 3 Weeks to Go! As I warned previously. My posting has slowed as a result of my hectic study life. I am at no shortage of things to discuss, and I hope to get you caught up, or at least fill in some more of the gaps once school wraps up in 3 weeks for the semester. In short, here are the latest happenings:. I spent last weekend in NY visiting my girlfriend. NY is awesome, definitely not a bad place to show up every other month! Posted by david at Sunday, October 30, 2005. It was ...

If you live in Minneapolis, and have to park on the street, you're probably well aware of snow emergencies. However, you might not know which. Side of the street you can and can't park on. Good ol Minneapolis has finally thought up a solution, and gone straight to the source - to Facebook and MySpace. Now my only question - when do they roll out the iPhone app? It's sort of like Word or Excel - lots of "features" that sound great, but in reality 90% of people won't use them. Google is simple, and people get simple.
