My work has evolved from realistic landscapes into an abstract color field style with a space and light suggestive of landscapes. I hope to evoke within the viewer a sense of mood and emotional connection that draws them into the space and allows a personal one-on-one experience with the work. I use multiple layers of color and soft transitional edges between the simplified shape to achieve these goals.
