http://raisingawarrior.blogspot.com/2006/08/teacher-student.html
A fathers journey to raise his daughter. Tuesday, August 22, 2006. A teacher, a student. One week ago one of my best friends, David Honeycutt. Died He was a mentor, a martial arts master, a triathlete, a medic, a chef, a screen writer, a rock climber, a soccer player, a teacher, a friend, a husband, a father and a warrior. The words "I can't" were just a challenge to him. Afraid of heights? He would take you cliff jumping. Lack self-confidence? He would take you rock climbing. Don't have good balance?

A fathers journey to raise his daughter. Sunday, September 24, 2006. Finding your comfort zone, then smashing it. Everyone has their comfort zone with family, professionally, personally and physically. Athletes push themselves past their comfort zone to be come better in their sport. A warrior will constantly put themselves in situations that breaks their comfort zone. It starts with physical training, but it will lead to mental and spiritual training as well. In my first post I mentioned. It was hard to see everyone leave. I was a bit depressed when the did so I just started "talking" to David. I asked him why he left when he had these two young men to make into warriors. I heard him response. He said he already did that. Now it's my turn. Posted by TeacherStudent @ 10:45 AM.

A fathers journey to raise his daughter. Sunday, August 27, 2006. Put 'um up kid! My wife, C, and I have always tried to avoid coddling L. Even as an toddler, when she fell we didn't go running to her and scoop her up. We would stand still, give some verbal coddling ("Aww honey, are you ok? Did you hurt your self?
