July 10, 2015. The last four weeks have been the longest and fastest of my life. Every day brings a new joy, a new challenge, a new rhythm, a new reminder that my life and my time is not my own. Things I wish I would have known/never expected/was told but didn’t understand until I was roommates with a newborn:. Being clothed is overrated. Starting during labor, all regard for personal dignity goes out the window. Going to the bathroom whenever I wanted was a luxury I should never have taken for granted.
