Wine of Origin Swartland. Our new vintage Aristargos is a blend of 12 different vineyards, mainly focused on older bush vines. A small percentage of Sémillon from a vineyard planted in the 1950’s is blended with Chenin blanc (oldest block planted in 1966), Viognier, Clairette blanche and Roussanne. The wines were aged from vintage to vintage. Harmless sediment may occur. A blend of various old Chenin blanc vineyards throughout the Swartland. Aged from vintage to vintage. Kloof Street Chenin Blanc. A very well crafted blend of Syrah, Carignan and Grenache reflects the Swartland’s affinity with Rhone varieties. Where David's Grenache is immediately appealing, this blend has a brooding meaty complexity to it that will need more time to reveal its locked in secrets.
