Born in Port Talbot, South Wales. Raised and educated in Fowey, Cornwall. Experienced a late '60's Arts Education at the University of Warwick. Worked in education and theatre, and as a touring professional musician. Screen-printing at Falmouth Art School, further B.A (Hons.) in History of Fine Art,. MA in Arts Practice, Univ. of Warwick. 1990's - ran an Arts Faculty in the Cotswolds. Returned to Cornwall to paint full-time 2002. Based in North Cornwall. North Cornwall Museum and Gallery.

I have completed a new set of songs for a lo-fi, acoustic, country-blues recording to be called 'Stamping Ground'. Dubbed 'nu-cornish' in the 'Cornish Guardian' (31.8.12), it features my good friends and old musical compadres, Pete Flaskett (guitar), Richard Barrett (mandolin, fiddle, banjo and guitar) and Keith Marshall (drums and percussion). They generate their own individual energy and force-field, but their impulse always comes from the nature of this special place where I was raised.
