http://adoptionexpedition.blogspot.com/2010/08/jacks-3rd-birthday-party.html
We have decided to adopt a child from Russia! God has led us in this direction. This blog is an effort to journal and share our journey. Monday, August 9, 2010. Jack's 3rd Birthday Party. Wow, what a weekend! Even now I'm smiling as I replay the scene in my mind. I'm so grateful to all those who joined us in making Jack feel so special. Guests started out by following signs up our driveway. And then the front door indicated where they were - Fire House #3. Everyone got a Junior Firefighter Badge! Not sur...

Hope for Baby 2: Starting again...
http://hopeforbaby2.blogspot.com/2012/11/starting-again.html
Friday, November 30, 2012. We've filled out most of the forms required for setting up a Home Study visit, though it feels like I'm missing a lot. I've mailed off some of the Florida clearance requests needed and we're hopeful to get a ton more done over the next week including doctors visits, verifications and reports. So many little things. I took a moment to look at the blog. We kept for Jack's adoption, back at about this stage and remember the excitement along with the mounds of paperwork!

Hope for Baby 2: Welcome!

Monday, December 12, 2011. Hello there. My husband David and I have started this blog in order to create a story book of our journey to our second child. About 3 years ago we brought home our son from Russia and we'd like to add to our family once again. We are looking forward to that moment when we meet our child and especially the moment they are ours forever. So where does this story start? This is where we've begun. I look forward to adding posts sharing what's next! Posted by Michele @ crazyfordesign.

Hope for Baby 2: Moving along...
http://hopeforbaby2.blogspot.com/2012/12/moving-along.html
Thursday, December 6, 2012. I have to say - the second time around isn't nearly as easy as I'd hoped as I said before, but knowing your social worker and family coordinator is such an asset. They were helpful and encouraging to begin with but I feel our rapport is so much sweeter. Ya know? I found out our passports expired this past September but thankfully we can renew them by mail and don't have to go to the local courthouse, meaning David doesn't have to take any time off of work to head over there.

Hope for Baby 2: Making Progress
http://hopeforbaby2.blogspot.com/2012/12/making-progress.html
Monday, December 17, 2012. I watched a video of one of our visits with Jack at the orphanage before we were able to bring him home. I was tickling him and his laughter made me almost burst with joy inside. I kept watching it, over and over. Such Joy. Many have asked if we're pursuing a boy or girl so I thought I'd mention that we're not asking for one or the other but leaving it in God's hands as we did with Jack. :D. I'm so looking forward to getting this paperwork done and we're so close to having it a...

What I'm shooting and why! Monday, April 16, 2007. I was out at the beach and I saw this group of people with these things that looked like giant kites. Here is a shot of one of them on the water with their kite. Looks pretty fun but I don't think the wind is strong enough to get me moving. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Kegs of beer image. What I'm shooting and why! Monday, August 28, 2006. I never really noticed the different. Sunday, August 27, 2006. This was an interesting shot. I had never done a shot at night. My first thought was I needed a long exposure time to get it. Well after what seemed like 100 shots and 100 mosquitoes. Bites I went inside to find some info on the Internet. Well never fails the Internet. I found out I had to use a faster exposure. Friday, August 25, 2006. Intro to Photo Site. Intro to my photosite.

We have decided to adopt a child from Russia! God has led us in this direction. This blog is an effort to journal and share our journey. Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Hodge Podge of Stories and Updates (long). CAUGHT IN THE ACT - Is this a bad sign? One morning Jack was looking at the little cut on his knuckle. I happened to be telling him the requested "Squeeky Squirrel" story and said Mommy squirrel kissed Squeeky's booboo and made it all better! He looked at his finger, totally confused! Grandma and Grandpa...
