MECHANICAL CRANE - David Sevilla. On this project my team and I built a robotic crane that emulated the behaivor of a fully automated construction crane. The set points for the crane where introduced through a LabView GUI, which where sent to a PLC that was responsible for the PID control and the state machine that governed the crane. The angle was sense by a potentiometer, which signal was conditioned by an instrumentation amplifier before going back to the PLC. The crane had 6 actuators:.

ROBOT SIMULATOR - David Sevilla. On this project I built a Matlab a GUI over the mathematical model of a Kuka Robot and a Kuka controller that I programmed. This project can be use to reprogram a Kuka Robot off-. Line and make sure that there robot would not collide with any object in the working space with out stopping the production. CAR SIMULATOR - David Sevilla. On this project my team and I built a race car cabin simulator, that controlled in real time a remote control race car. Audio, video and acceleration was sensed from the race car and send to the controller of the cabin. The signals that were received by or systems move the cabin with pneumatic cylinders and transmitted audio and video from the race care into the cabins, making the user fill as if he was actually in the remote control race car.
