The visual reminder that today is a very special day, the day when my little boy was born and lived even if for a short time, is not here. I am so sad. I love you so much, David, and I miss you every second of every day. Happy 6th Birthday, Love! The world may forget, but your mommy doesn't!

Now that Report Cards are done and I no longer have the wonderful flu I had most of last week, I wanted to give you an update. I wish I could put a drum roll sound here. The David Project has raised over $300. I am so happy that we will be able to donate that many books to kids who are sick in the hospital. Thank you so much to everyone who donated! After 4 years of watching the Chicago Marathon I knew I couldn't sit back and watch it for a 5th time! So this year I had to do it! Here's my adventures along the way.
