The first care package we sent over with Tim and Angi, is now with Tara Mowen in Ethiopia and she is going to deliver it next week as well. Hopefully, we'll be getting new pictures next week too! We were so excited to go shopping. We never dreamed we'd be shopping for 0 - 3 months clothes! Hopefully in the next few weeks we'll get a call a...

Our journey through parenthood and Ethiopian adoption. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We hope everyone has a very. And a Happy New Year! This little gal and her four siblings live in Guatemala. Last Friday, when most of us were Christmas shopping, they were found all alone and eating dirt to fill their bellies. The oldest child of the five, a nine year old girl, is their only mother figure. And share their story with 10 people. I know you're thinking, ten dollars is kind of a lot this week. I me...

We could not be more excited for all three of them! We sure do wish we were traveling with them, but more importantly we want Aerie to come home quickly! We are Logan and Brandy Wa...

Our journey through parenthood and Ethiopian adoption. Here we are. Together for a whole month. Oh. mistakes have been made. But there have been beautiful, glorious, perfect moments too. So much of this month has been a blur of exhaustion and emotion, but we'll never forget these days. Maybe we'll forget the specific day and the time and the words that were spoken. but we'll never forget. What this feels like. What adoption feels like. Discovering together, for the first time, what it really means. Their...

Things have moved slowly these past two months for many reasons. We haven't moved very far up the list, but we know that things will start moving eventually. White vinyl - 4.5" x 5"). Our journey through parenthood and Ethiopian adoption. Thank you so much Michael Gowin, Tyler and Lori for the great pictures! Together again in Ethiopia. Big brother and other fans waiting in the airport. He is showing her the sign that he made that says, "Sissy I love you." He has always wanted us to name her, "Sissy I love you Temar Wade". My favorite picture. Look at River's proud face! Meeting Little Mamaw Shirley. A reunion with the old transition home buddies. At home. At last. We wouldn't have ke...
