Friday, August 8, 2014. So it's been about a month since I posted anything but I've been keeping busy. I started to learn how to play the blues on the piano, slowly but surely getting better. It's all about practice, practice, practice, right? I have also been busy cooking. My super cool neighbors bought me a dehydrator. Which I have bought to good use right away! Thursday, August 22, 2013. I got free tickets from my produce purveyor to see the Pack play SF on September 8th, first game of the season! Our seats are the red circle. Wish I was on the Packers side but I'll take what I can get! Monday, August 19, 2013. Andi's cousin is in town for a couple of weeks and she loves horses. Yesterday was her birthday so we got her a gift of horseback riding up in Bodega Bay. For those of you that remember, Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. Was filled in Bodega Bay.

Monday, June 9, 2014. Today I had to make the hard decision to put my dog Sophie to sleep. She was 15 years old, had the heart and the will but her body just started to give out. I got her at the Buddy Dog Humane Society. In Sudbury MA when she was 4 years old. Part Husky, part Lab she loved the snow and cold, hated the water and heat. We had some great adventures together! Tuesday, February 25, 2014. On my last day in Fairbanks I drove to one of the most talked about spots there: Chena Hot Springs. They have several natural hot springs both indoors and out as well as snowmobiling, hiking, dog sledding, and an ice museum. Serene river passing by. Coldest I saw my entire time in Alaska! Mr Snowman being hugged by polar bears at the entrance to the hot springs. They had some reindeer for viewing. The ducks love it! From the old Justice League cartoon, no? Ice glass being made.
