John Bartholomew Photography: It's been a while
http://johnbphoto.blogspot.com/2008/04/its-been-while.html
Monday, April 21, 2008. It's been a while. Ok, so it's been a while since I last posted. Pretty sad considering that I just started this blog! Anyways, this past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding for a very fun couple. Here are a few images. This first one is a view of the wedding dress hanging on a clear plastic hanger in front of a very nicely lit window. Posted by John Bartholomew. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Links to places I like. Its been a while.

John Bartholomew Photography: April 2008

Monday, April 28, 2008. Such a cryptic title. It actually stands for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Over the weekend I attended a seminar run by Ed Peirce, who is a well known portrait photographer. The seminar was about what I expected - half of it was useful and the other half was infomercial. But that's what's to be expected for an entrance price of a mere $20 after discounts. Anyways, one of the things talked about near the end was this service called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Monday, April 21, 2008.

John Bartholomew Photography: Celebrations
http://johnbphoto.blogspot.com/2008/01/celebrations.html
Wednesday, January 30, 2008. I have been thinking about this for a while; the abrubt closing of Celebrations and the aweful place they left their customers in really is not good not only for the Bride and Groom but also the entire industry. Most Wedding photographers, part time, full time, low budget and high are good people who really do just want to give the new couple wonderful imagry to remember their wedding by for generations to come. What I will do for the winner. Up to 10 hours coverage.

John Bartholomew Photography: First Post
http://johnbphoto.blogspot.com/2008/01/first-post.html
Wednesday, January 23, 2008. Here is an image from a fall wedding in 2007. This was immediately after a rain stopped and I think turned out fairly well, especially considering this image was not intended to be a formal, but was one of those "in between shots" captures. I am hoping to update this blog on a relatively regular basis, probably weekly or so to show off new things I'm doing and other things that interest me. In the meantime, visit my web site www.johnbartholomewphotography.com.
