Me.: Rain Falling on Petals
http://bripercha.blogspot.com/2012/04/rain-falling-on-petals.html
Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Rain Falling on Petals. We've been having some pretty nice weather if even. Am happy about a gloomy rainy day. Sometimes, it's just the thing. :). However, I do love how the colors turned out and, ultimately, I really like this shot. I may have to go back out on a sunny day with a mist bottle and play around with the petals and drops a little more. :). April 3, 2012 at 10:15 AM. Seen at Darcys Sweet Shot Tuesday. April 3, 2012 at 10:49 AM. WOW That is a seriosuly beautiful shot!
Michigan Hummingbird Guy: August 2014
http://mihummingbirdguy.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Metro Beach banding report - August 3-14, 2014. Highlights of the 31 birds banded on Sunday, August 3. Included hatch-year Yellow Warblers, with pristine and bright feathers. Juvenile Swamp Sparrows were captured also, looking a lot like Lincoln's Sparrow. But note that the buffy malar is not bordered with dark on both sides, as it is in Lincoln's, and the crown is generally darker. Hatch-year male Brown-headed Cowbird. Highlights of the 119 birds banded on Thursday, August 7.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. I really enjoyed being able to get out in the woods a couple of evenings this week. All the forest critters seemed to be out enjoying the perfect weather right along with me. This entire week was a perfect first-taste of summer. :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Favorite Crafty Blogs. Made It On Monday. Michigan Hummingbird Guy: December 2014
http://mihummingbirdguy.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 26, 2014. Off on a wild goose chase. With the 2014 songbird banding season over, and the late fall hummingbird banding season cut short by a lack of birds, we had some spare time on our hands in December. And, with very low gas prices, and a car that gets 50 mpg, we decided to get away for a few days. But where? Near Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Canada Geese near Hightstown, New Jersey. Thank you John, and our new friend from Toronto, for being the sacrificial birders! At the northern end...

Birds Brews and Blither: January 2015
http://birdsbrewsandblither.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 26, 2015. Day 10 - All Good Things. Sunday morning was exactly what things were supposed to be – more play time with the drapes. Why didn’t they have those when I was a kid? Walking the hall to the lobby, the sound of a crying infant echoed through the hall. At least we thought it was a child. Perhaps it was a grown man crying after he lost a fortune. I like that version better. Who in the hell would bring kids to that town? The insanity and the debauchery? Okay, here is the rundown….

Birds Brews and Blither: December 2014
http://birdsbrewsandblither.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 25, 2014. Just in case you are curious, this Santa was brought to you by Mother Nature. It is a Milkweed pod cleverly disguised by my co-worker Jane.). Monday, December 22, 2014. If you have ever paid attention to a magician, they often seem to say "Ta-daaaah" at the end of a trick that has gone well. This would contrast with "Oh., uh.ahhhhh, call a paramedic please" after something goes really wrong. So I'll say it - "Ta-daaaah! What have I been up to? Natalie and I got married! The l...
Me.: A Moment

Tuesday, April 24, 2012. There is no correlation between the eagle and the situation with my grandpa. Yet, for some reason, I found it so comforting. I left that encounter feeling that everything will be alright, and I was so appreciative to have that moment. April 24, 2012 at 8:03 AM. Nature is a constant comfort. These photographs are great, maybe the eagle is a sense of the strength that you have, as you walk through this difficult journey. I am sorry to hear your Grandpa is so ill. Made It On Monday.
