These ruins are not the result of a sublime act of nature and no picturesque patina of time is allowed to cover them. Within days they are gone and the ground given up is readied for more building.

Born 11th March 1951 in London. Lives in Colchester, Essex. In a new housing development cars and buildings prove contemporary subjects for urban landscape even when fields are a few hundred metres away. The occupants of the development move from train to car to home, from machine to machine to machine and back again the next day. This is my subject. 1962 to 1968 – Strand Grammar, London. 1968 to 1969 – Brighton College of Art, Foundation Art. 2006 – Colchester Les Livre Gallery.

Lång promenad med Mamma och kameran i vårsolen!
