I have written software of various levels of complexity, in several languages. I can read most computer gobble-de-gook including binary and hexadecimal. I have consulted on user-interfaces and code itself. In the days of tape-based editing, BBQ. Allowed a video editor to log and access any frame on a tape by name, number, or any other reference. Was first programmed in HTML for speed, then reproduced by another programmer in Macromedia Director for release.

I have been involved in various forms of television production for over forty years, on all six sides of the camera. writing, producing, shooting, hosting, editing, and designing and repairing the equipment. I started in studio production with 2 videotape.16mm film was used for outside work. As new forms of production came along, I evaluated, used and wrote some of the manuals for them! Editing these days is on a laptop. Made a couple of mistakes, but so far, no one has noticed them!
