What started as a low key stay-cation in October turned into quite a week-long adventure of many min-road trips! There were a string of five nights in a row where we left to drive somewhere after the boys were asleep. Some of our adventures have already been covered, namely the trip to the Children's Museum and the trip to the orchard. Handsome fella, huh? Cute pic of friends.

I was hardly awake by the time I got home but I quickly saw it was going to be a FUN day. Something special was going on. Mommy and Daddy took me outside to see this great, new playhouse. Have you seen a place like this before? There were goodies on the tables. And stuff going on outside. Lots of people came to visit ad play with me.

April 2, 2013. Exciting New Opportunity for Me. I got a new job for the 2012-13 school year! I was definitely not expecting that the Assistant Principal position at my previous school would open up. When it did, I applied, interviewed and was offered the job. I accepted, of course! February 26, 2012. For a birthday party, Allison chose to take her friends, Shelby and Caroline, to the Build-a-Bear Workshop. The girls chose what type of animal they wanted to make, helped to fill it with stuffing, and chose a heart for it. They had fun picking out an outfit for their animals, and they all three chose the same one. Gramma came along with us and even paid for each of the girls to choose a pair of shoes for their animals. They were very excited about that! Happy 6th Birthday, Allison!

September 11, 2011. Allison's First Day of Kindergarten. On August 10th, Allison had her first day of kindergarten. Here she is with Lindsey before Matt took her to school. We were really worried about Allison starting school this year because it's a new school with new teachers and new kids. She had such a rough time adjusting to preschool last year. She was a little nervous the first day or so, but she has LOVED school ever since! She also comes home giving us an update on her new best buddy Braydon!

Kaiya the Service Dog. Monday, November 24, 2008. Kaiya at Halloween and Thanksgiving. Here is a picture of Kaiya. In her Halloween costume. She was such a great sport and didn't mind wearing it at all. She sat outside with us while we passed out candy to the kids. I think she enjoyed it! Is doing great. We have been with a new trainer for the past few weeks and we are really happy with everything. She is learning fast. One of the things I like about the trainer. A lot of distractions for Kaiya.

The past few months Kaiya has been in intense training so that she will pass the certification test while the family raised the money for Kaiya. October 10, 2011. Our Trip to the Orchard. Last weekend, we took our annual fall trip to the local orchard. The girls had fun looking at all of the varieties of pumpkins. We made our way to the apple trees to pick some apples. Unfortunately, all of the apples had been picked from the trees! Matt did find one good one lying on the ground, so we grabbed that one. Kaiya the Service Dog. Monday, June 1, 2009. Can you believe that it is June? Where does the time go? I said I would post pictures from Kaiya's birthday. Well, they are only a month late :). I think she looks so much older than the little puppy we got back in August. She is such a small lab that people still think she is a puppy. This is a classic Kaiya face:) She is a dog that loves life. Notice the feet. If she plays outside after we cut the grass, her paws turn bright green! Guess it was bath time.
