Maranoa Verdelho - 2012. It displays guava and stone fruit aromas with a touch of ripe melon, and has also been described as having rose petal and lychee notes. Baptista Shiraz - 2002. Aromas of leather and spice, with truffle and freshly polished furniture. A light to medium weight palate has sour cherry flavour and cigar box bouquet, fine acid and balanced with distinct tannin and mature flavours. A Heathcote Shiraz at maturity, showing some subtlety and development having a balance of flavours and extraction to enable the wine to be enjoyed with meats and dishes of a lighter style, or with fine cheese. Small oak, Nevers, Alliers and American for 12 months.

Label recognises the place that ancient vines have in winemaking in Australia. This wine is a blend of Shiraz from low yielding vineyards in the Heathcote Region that have their origin in three centuries, a component from a 19th century vineyard, through to vineyards planted in the 20th and now 21st centuries. Each vineyard component has its own distinct flavours and as they are of varying ages these differences add complexity and character. Three Centuries Shiraz - 2008. A nose of spice, dark fruits and cinnamon, and some evident toasty oak. Sweet pepper berry and light plum flavours flow through to a medium weight palate, having some vanilla bean oak influence, finishing with some slight astringency and vinosity.
