Colby Kids: Happy Birthday, Lincoln
http://colbykids.blogspot.com/2011/03/happy-birthday-lincoln.html
Happy Birthday, Lincoln. My baby boy turns five today! I can't believe it. I now understand why parents always think of their children as babies. No matter how big and independent they get, you still feel that overwhelming, protective love for them. Of course, it didn't dawn on me I was pregnant. Ron and I weren't trying to have kids. In fact we had planned not to have kids. Guess that wasn't our fate because a few days later I realized I had missed my period by a lot and tested. POSITIVE! So thank you, ...

Colby Kids: Gaga
http://colbykids.blogspot.com/2012/04/gaga.html
This is what happened after I told Xander not to put his hands in Gaga's fish tank. He didn't put his hands, he instead put in legos. He's getting too smart. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Colby Kids: Lincoln Speaks
http://colbykids.blogspot.com/2008/03/lincoln-speaks.html
So cute. I caught Lincoln on video tape showing off his verbal skills. I’m glad he was willing to deal with the camera in his face. Make photo slide shows at www.OneTrueMedia.com. There are more words, like banana or in Lincolnese Meeha. Not sure how he translates that but I don’t care. It’s cute. On the Xander front, he is beginning to laugh a little. Ron’s got him to do it the past two nights. He’s going to try again tonight and hopefully we’ll catch it on video too. March 20, 2008 at 12:13 AM. Photogr...

Colby Kids: Welcome to Holland
http://colbykids.blogspot.com/2009/07/welcome-to-holland.html
Who's son was born with down syndrome, was often asked to describe the experience of raising a child with a disability - to try to help people who have not shared that unique experience to understand it, to imagine how it would feel. This was her response. After months of eager anticipation, the day finally arrives. You pack your bags and off you go. Several hours later, the plane lands. The stewardess comes in and says, "Welcome to Holland.". You say. "What do you mean Holland? I signed up for Italy!

Colby Kids: Thank you, Angel Donor.
http://colbykids.blogspot.com/2012/10/thank-you-angel-donor.html
Thank you, Angel Donor. Four years ago today is the day you saved my son's life. Xander is so full of life! He loves it with every cell in his little body. It amazes me that one so little can appreciate it that much but he does and he can thanks to you. We so wish we knew who you were. We want to know your name and see a picture of you, our son's hero. I'd like to know what your favorite things to do were, your favorite color, favorite foods, family, friends, etc.everything! People are on the waiting list.
