The Life and Times. Saturday, October 6, 2012. After Casey and his family left on Sunday afternoon, we enjoyed an early dinner followed by some smores. Yum! Marie is the official queen of smores and taught James and Lucas the ropes. After indulging in smores, we all went for a walk to watch the sunset behind the mountains. Unfortunately it was a bit smokey from the forest fires, but beautiful even so. See above the cute couple, Marie and Kyle. See here, Oma, Grandpa, and James. Here they are again!

The Life and Times. Saturday, April 21, 2012. Our Trip to Gun Lake, Michigan. Because Jerry took a day off to come to our new babe's ultrasound, we decided to take the long weekend and camp. It was Easter weekend and the weather was beautiful! This was our first time taking the motor home with the Blazer in tow. It was a fun ride and the boys all did well. Mostly they stayed in their seats and napped. It was about a 3-4 hour drive up to Gun Lake, MI where we were staying. Check out the swan! I want to tr...

We took off the blue ribbons and added the lace and made a new, girly bonnet. I think it turned out quite nice! Love those bright eyes. Our latest family portrait. A few snapshots of Dina's first week of life. Loving the pink and the flowers ;). August 8, 2012. Finally, here she is! Berendina Antoinette, born at 2:37 AM on August 8, 2012. The Life and Times. Saturday, October 6, 2012. James was so excited that it was all he could think about. In the middle of the night he awoke while I was nursing Dina and said, "I was dreaming about fishing. We need to remember to pack a lunch." So funny. James caught his fish! Sorry it was a bad photo; click on it and you can see the fish better. We were so happy for him and he was so proud. No we had to try and get the poor fish off the hook. We managed. Jerry waits, and waits, and waits for the big one.

The Life and Times...: On our way to Idaho!
http://cheers-eh.blogspot.com/2012/10/on-our-way-to-idaho.html
The Life and Times. Saturday, October 6, 2012. On our way to Idaho! We have been planning this trip to Idaho for the past 2 years. The day has finally come and we are off. Last winter we invested in a motor home to make the trip with 4 little ones more manageable, and am I glad we did! Dina, who was only 4 weeks old when we left, did fabulously. She ate and slept, and when she was awake, she was quite content! Enjoying a snack of pears en route. Then we could slide down! Wouldn't that be fun? Here are a ...

The Life and Times. Saturday, October 6, 2012. We met Mom and Dad up in Donnelly just in time for a late dinner. It was SO nice to visit with them :) We hadn't seen them for over a year so this was great. We stayed at an RV camp called S.I.S.C.R.A. we didn't realize it stood for "Southwestern Idaho Senior Citizen Recreation Area". Who knew? Ours were the only kids around and made the most noise. but, for the most part, everyone enjoyed us being there. Oma cuddling her new granddaughter. Man have a blog.

The Life and Times. Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Grampa and Jerry with the boys in front of the old shop. Everything was closed when we were there, but a kind man drove up on his golf cart and offered to let us look around. Mr Eld, it turns out, is the mayor and sheriff of the town and also the owner of the general store and several other historic buildings. Views of the town. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). One Stitch at a Time. Unless the LORD builds the house. Man have a blog. Make It and Love It.
