A Mom's Life in Monroe. God is Not A Consumer Product. For the past couple of weeks our church has been joining with thousands of churches around the world for a teaching series called "One Prayer". Each week we simulcast a different person who speaks on the topic "God is.". This week was my husbands turn to speak live (which I was glad since I haven't heard him preach in 3 weeks) and his topic was "God is FATHER". This is your Father you are dealing with, and He knows better than you what you need".

I wanted to be around for support to my dad who has had numerous friends and now his mom pass away in the past few years. Now, with none of us being even remotely experienced with this idea, it was interesting to say the least! There was math and some mad science involved trying to get the perfect color dyes, and some great craftsmanship in order to get the shirts twisted just right.
