Dawn's Dog House - Captain & Tenille
http://dawnsdoghouse.com/captain_tenille.html
This picture was taken a few years ago for our yearly Holiday card. They don't really like having their pictures taken. I've got the scars to prove it ;). Their favorite place of all time is in a box. I don't know why, but they'll take a plain, old, boring cardboard box over the trillions of dog beds, couches and cat hammocks I have all over the place. Cats are strange. :). Finally, for all of you that hit this page doing a search on the musical duo, Captain and Tenille, here are a few links. :).

Dawn's Dog House - Payton

I know you're not supposed to compare one dog to another, but he is so much like Freddie, it's uncanny! I will say that Freddie isn't totally thrilled to have a brother. He thoroughly enjoyed being the man of the household. :) But, it was time to even up the sexes around here, so Payton joined the S* pack. Us girls still rock though. :). 2008 Dawn What do you think.

I go through spurts when it comes to the camera. Sometimes I'm really, really good at bringing it with me to capture the moment. Other times, not so much. :) But I do really enjoy taking them when I can. So, there are some pictures of me, some of the kids, some of the flowers I grow, and then some galleries of events/days/nights/parties that I've been to recently. All galleries will open in new windows because I was too lazy to go back and add links on all the pages. :p. Me, me, and more of me.

Dawn's Dog House - Millie
http://dawnsdoghouse.com/millie.html
Introducing Momma's Girl Millicent TT, CGC. She is the heart (and the boss) of the house. She's the reason why I started training dogs and the reason why I know so much about them and their behavior. We've been through thick and thin together and she's worth every cent and every minute I've put into her. Millie. Where do we start with Millie? Why would I bother doing all of this work, you ask? Because Millie was a dog I adopted (funnily enough from the same shelter that said I would be cruel and inhumane!

Well, here I am. Me and my girls. We were at a book signing for a training book their pictures were in. There aren't a ton of pictures of me around, but there are a few more on the gallery page. The first tidbit to know about me, if you haven't figured it out already, is that my life revolves around dogs. I own three, which got me as involved as I am with everything dog related: rescue, training and dog sports. But we'll get into that more later. :). I volunteer at Canine University. I graduated with my ...

Dawn's Dog House - Freddie

I'm actually partial to girl dogs, but Freddie stole my heart with his loving personality and good looks. Little did I know what I was getting myself into with such a high-energy dog! If you're ever in the New England area and want to see Freddie fly down the lanes during a flyball tournament, look at the tournament schedule here. He's really a joy to watch and you can see the love he has for the sport! Freddie's big treat for the new title was a McDonald's cheeseburger on the way home. :).

Dawn's Dog House - Tweak
http://dawnsdoghouse.com/tweak.html
Also known as Tweak! And Tweakerbelle, Tweak is the dog I said I'd never own. The infamous "they" have a saying along the lines of 'Never say Never' and I should have heeded their advice. I clearly remember saying I would 'Never' own a Border Collie because it was like cheating - you didn't have to *train* them as much as you had to *show* them. That's actually a true statement, btw. I now see why people love these dogs. I'm addicted to her! Or her Grandma Alibi. She'll be a natural. and on fire! Along w...

Dawn's Dog House - Skootchie
http://dawnsdoghouse.com/skootchie.html
Now she's a mature 9 years old and is still as playful as ever, she just plays by herself more. I think she has some form of OCD as she absolutely loves to take a toy and hide it under a blanket or dog bed and then find it by skootching in around the house. She's a weirdo, but I love her even more because of it. Skootchie has a few tricks up her sleeve as well. I taught her to sneeze on command - quite a cool trick!
