Monday, August 10, 2015. Sun and Sand in Sandbridge. Our 2nd annual Koplan beach trip to Sandbridge in Virginia Beach! 25 Koplans under 1 roof for a whole week - literally. I left the house once the entire week for a grocery store run! Paige sitting on her 'big' 4 year old cousin. Gwen was a great big cousin to Bruce's girls and could often be found in the indoor pool minding the little ones. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. The other tooth drops. Another Koplan girl's baby-toothed smile days are numbered. After complaining of pain whenever she ate an apple for weeks, Whitney's first wiggly little tooth finally parted ways with her mouth while eating chicken nuggets for lunch! Monday, October 6, 2014. Now, I'm not usually a fan of musical theater. I thought Rent and the Producers were hugely overrated, Les Mes was just kinda eh and Cats was downright boring. But, I loved Wicked!

Monday, February 16, 2015. The Koplans hit the slopes again this President's Day Weekend, staying in Northstar with the Chang family. Beth informed me that Cayley recently declared that Whitney was her BFF, so it was a timely pairing. On day #2, Adam took the big girls with the Changs to Diamond Peak while Paige and I had a mellow day together. Wednesday, June 25, 2014. It's finally happened- I got the classic shot of a little kid falling asleep while eating a bowl of spaghetti! Friday, June 20, 2014. We're not the only ones enjoying our open outdoor pavilion… there was not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 birds nests nestled in the ceiling beams. Unfortunately, they were all lined up right over our grill, and we can't have birds pooping all over food prep area. So, the girls got to see little sparrow eggs up close and personal! Monday, June 29, 2015. Gwen got another 1st place finish at this weekend's meet against MVP - this time with a pop in breaststroke. She is now the 13th fastest 7/8 breaststroker in OMPA (and #18 in freestyle). Great job Gwen! And let's not forget our little up and comer, Whitney! At last Saturday's meet, she popped her backstroke by almost 20 seconds to earn her first bronze time and was just one second away from silver (33.03 seconds on a yard pool)! Friday, June 19, 2015. Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Last week was Gwen's first experience with girl scout camp. I didn't get to see anything first hand other than the craziness of pick-up and drop-offs (thank goodness for a 3-way carpool with Danielle and Phoebe! Gwen said she liked it the same as a day at school, more than tennis (b/c tennis is so short). but not as much as a swim meet. Thursday, July 10, 2014. 4th of July Family Fun. We got a visit from Cousin Zoe this 4th of July week! Lots of time at the pool.

Monday, July 13, 2015. Paige started her first dance class this summer - and loves it, of course. Just when I thought I was done with CAPA. Ballet is her dance of choice, and she loves to say "boo-lay, boo-lay, pee-ay, pee-ay" while doing plies.
