Sunday, May 1, 2011. Pink flamingoes and heavy drinking! Yesterday colby and i saw the movie gnomeo and juliet. While we were watching it i decided i wanted two things for my backyard.a gnome and pink plastic flamingoes! You have to see the movie to understand why. So after the movie we went to hobby lobby to look for gnome. they had a few, but they weren't cute. then i thought, "ooooh! Why not paint my own gnome? How fun would that be? Still my right now. January 8, 2011. Tonight for supper, we had my yummy chicken pepper-jack taquitos! They're pretty easy to make, and they are so yummy! Here's the recipe: (the original recipe came from food network. i changed it up a bit.). Amy's chicken pepper-jack taquitos. 2 tsp olive oil. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces. 1/2 c chopped roasted red peppers, drained (from water-packed jar). 1/2 c chopped onion. 8 burrito-size flour tortillas. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Still my right now. January 20, 2011. So far this week. So this week started with the ever UNpopular staff development day for the teachers while the kids had a day off! One good thing about these days, though, is that we actually get to eat lunch at a normal speed instead of inhaling it, and we get to eat at a restaurant! Our team chose outlaws! Still my right now. March 5, 2011. This week seemed to drag on and on! I don't know why, but i was exhausted by the end of it! Once supper and dishes were done, i just plopped down on the couch. i had zero energy. smudge jumped right up there behind my head and started squeaking his new toy right in my ear! Still my right now. March 7, 2011. Resistance is NOT futile! Last night i helped with the kids for christ/youth event at church. the moms were in charge of serving food to all the kiddos. there were chips and cookies and cokes out the wazoo! But i was so proud of myself because i resisted ALL of that junk! A week ago i would have been snacking on all of it. i just drank my diet A&W (which was really good, by the way) and watched everyone else consume that stuff. Photo of the day. Photo of the day.
