While did not use everything in my kit, I managed to get 5 layouts done and 1 small layout. (I forgot a had 2 photos I wanted to add.). This is all that remains beside my embellishments. This is another oldie but at lest the photo is mine. Boston in spring. during an ice storm. No 3, 4 and 5:. At least these are more recent. It is now time to work on something else.

A little bokeh background and some sequins. Cut out the word "celebrate" using Sweet Pea font. The photo does not show it too well, but there is Wink of Stella on the phrase. Links to this post. I found a solution for no sew page protectors here,. And of course, I had to give it. I don't use a lot of pocket pages so I found its more economical to make my own. It also gives me more freedom to make any size I need. Wash or painters tape. Dry erase pen (optional). Soldering tool or similiar tool with small point (I found mine on clearance a few years back, the label. Is missing but its made by Walnut Hollow). My tool came with 2 points. Taped glass over my cutting mat. Links to this post.

Back on Track.I hope. The past few months have been hectic here, to say the least. Multiple colds, injuries and such, plus the holidays have left me searching for a mundane routine. I actually had time to visit my studio and put things in order, even though I know it will not stay that way for very long. Today I even had the chance to put a quick page together. Have a good weekend! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Artist, designer, photgrapher who loves to scrapbook.

dayb*: Retro anyone?
http://dayboardman.blogspot.com/2015/05/retro-anyone.html
Lately, I've been scrapping retro using inspiration from old tablecloths like these:. Using big bold florals is not exactly an easy task for me. I prefer easy to work with geometrics and repeating patterns. Every once in a while I find myself reverting back to nice compact florals. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
