Anonymous Market Notes: Position Sizing
http://anon-marketnotes.blogspot.com/2010/08/position-sizing.html
You must do the things you think you cannot do. Monday, August 30, 2010. The more thought and attention I give to trading, I'm finding the same to be true. If you are able to control the amount you put into play depending on the context and conditions surrounding a trade, you can minimize risk and maximize potential profit. Say you are uncertain about a specific trade. Why not cut down the amount you're willing to risk on it? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 4687420 [at] gmail [dot] com. Carrying a Ca...

Anonymous Market Notes: Poker Experiment
http://anon-marketnotes.blogspot.com/2009/11/poker-experiment.html
You must do the things you think you cannot do. Monday, November 16, 2009. On Friday I got curious. I wanted to know how far someone could go playing online poker, starting with a $5 balance. In the right hand column further down the page, you'll see a line chart (like the one directly to the right). I played a little on Saturday and Sunday and pulled the account up to its current standing of $6.15. Which makes me laugh inside- such risky stakes! What I look for are loose games, which are easily identifi...

Anonymous Market Notes: July 2010
http://anon-marketnotes.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
You must do the things you think you cannot do. Saturday, July 31, 2010. Some Numbers for the End of the Month. Break even trades: 0. Starting balance: $27.95. Ending balance: $38.70. Total profit: $10.75 (107.5 pips). Percentage gain: 38.5. Next month, I'd like to work on collecting more pips per trade and on minimizing draw down. Hopefully I can hold onto current profits while increasing my overall account size, all in my quest to become a hundredaire. Or something like that. Friday, July 30, 2010.

You must do the things you think you cannot do. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. In order to maintain the zone for longer periods of time, I'm doing all I can to think and rethink various plays when I'm not at the tables. If I can continue to train my actions, I hope to be able to instinctively act upon the myriads of scenarios that emerge while at the felt. September 8, 2010 at 12:33 AM. September 8, 2010 at 8:05 PM. You must do the things you think you cannot do. Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Brian Tracy's Seven Rules to Success. Last night a friend and I were talking about achieving success. She is doing missionary work throughout the United States and has taken many courses on success and various related subjects; she hopes to become a youth leader. Because of this, and the fact that I respect and appreciate her advice, I thought I would share her book suggestion: Maximum Success. Rules begin at 2:15. Brian Tracy'...

Anonymous Market Notes: Predictions

You must do the things you think you cannot do. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. This won't be a legitimate update. Not really. Just thought it would interest some of you to know that I have a stock (and weather) prediction project in my numerical analysis class. We're using Lagrange Polynomials. And Cubic Spline Interpolation. Among other methods, to predict an already known price of AAPL stock. We'll then compare the approximation with the actual price and thus calculate the error. Starting No Limit Hands.

You must do the things you think you cannot do. Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). You don't need to know anything about me. Read my miscellaneous notes and decide- for yourself- if they say anything worthwhile. Question my words and confront my reasoning. If it doesn't mesh, find something that does. Never take what I say as your own. Take what I say and, if anything, make. It your own. I am an anonymous trader, because it doesn't matter what my name is. Bulls Hold the Line.
