What the world is like through a person who is deaf. Sunday, November 4, 2012. Who Is This Guy With Two Pillows Between His Ears? My name is Jeff Swartz. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I have three younger brothers. I would say my temperament is intuitive, giving, and choleric. I struggled in middle and high school with learning disabilities. I didn’t excel in school until I entered college. I completed degrees in theology, business, and instructional design with high honors in each one.
