Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Ten Things I Learned from Gretchen Rubin. Have you seen Gretchen Rubin’s blog “The Happiness Project”. I've follwed it for a little over a year now and was excited to learn that she was writing a book. Now I had an actual professional reason for arranging to meet her in person! What a relief (but not a surprise) to find out that not only is she extremely nice and down-to-earth, but open to doing an event with us! Tired people are not happy. 1 Show up for friends and relatives.

Saturday, January 30, 2010. I finally cut the flower head off of this plant as its past its prime. Something came along in the night and had a go at extracting some seeds from it. I love that the plants on my rooftop attract birds and insects and provide some sort of environment for them. You wouldnt find something like that around here. I did have some cardinals in my garden today. And we had snow! January 30, 2010 at 7:25 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sydney, nsw, Australia. S and D garden.

http://robbleatzip.blogspot.com/2010/01/sedum-purple-emperor.html
Saturday, January 30, 2010. Sedum “Purple Emperor”. I bought this Sedum at Lambley Nursery last year and it has just started flowering. It grows 35cm tall and the leaves are purpley bronze. It flowers from late summer to Autumn and requires little water. A great choice for a sunny garden in drought conditions. What pretty blooms on a sedum! I dont think I have ever seen one like that one. Also, I like your blog design. Amy. January 30, 2010 at 5:21 PM. Love that pink and any sedum to me is a good one.
