Thursday, April 16, 2015. Today I did a simple birthday card. I used Walk in My Garden for the tulips and bird, Ornamental Iron for the fence, and Gypsy Wanderings for the "Happy Birthday". It is a little difficult to tell in these pictures but I used some chalk to accent the tulips and the little bird. This picture shows the difference in the tulips a little better. Sunday, January 29, 2012. I have been playing with glass and polymer clay. Yes, that is a blow torch! Silly me, I watched the instruction video and thought 'I can do this! I tried 11 times and came up with only 2 use-able (but not beautiful) beads. But I had fun and I got to play with a blow torch! Not giving up yet. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. I am trying to ease my way back into crafting so I did a rather simple "Hi" card. I used the Cricut Walk in My Garden cartridge for the bee and Cricut Alphabet for the font. The supplies are some of my hoarded stash. The bee and flowers are raised. The bee's wings have been filled in with yellow stickles. It may not be my best work but I like it. Thursday, July 28, 2011. What I did today. I am filling my display wall with framed photos. Instead of just throwing them in a plain frame I am adding some decoration. The first is my son. I used Jasmine for the font. The second is my son and nephew. The shape is from Going Places and the font is Ashlyn's Alphabet. This one is my son when he was 2.
