Thursday, November 28, 2013. So much to be grateful for! We are all healthy and doing well. Eric came with Duncan for the week. We all took Wednesday off from work so we could celebrate dinner a day early with Katie, Chris and Ellie J.We had the cornucopia and snacks to start the day. Always time to love on this baby! We played some cards, listened to music and Eleanor danced a bit with Mom:-). John played some spades this year. He did tons of dishes too! We even had name tags.fun! Bundle up little one!

Saturday, August 9, 2014. Bass Lake hike (part 4). I forgot about the pictures on my phone! These were from the day hike that Jesse set up for us. It was a great day - hot - and we had a huge group. The trail started out pretty easy. Then we ended up on top of a metal strip on the canal. This canal is all over the place. Watch your step! We made it to the swimming hole. Monday, October 7, 2013. Nice warm weather and a smiling grand-baby! What a great day! Katie had a day free while visiting Chris's sisters at parents weekend at JMU. We came down to have some baby time. The football game was in full swing and we decided to visit the Arboretum. We got pretty warm walking around so Katie decided to let little E cool off in the fountain. Lauren fed the ducks. The place was beautiful! Jeanne met little E and than showed us around town. When I got home from my run, still thinking about the seasons we "don't" have in So Cal, I thought, "Well, I'll probably never wake up to snow right out my front door.". However, if I drive 10 minutes. I hopped in my car and decided to take a little drive. Four minutes from my front door, I see the sign, "Entering National Forest.". Around the bend, I see that.
