Thursday, 10 June 2010. Did You Think I Was Sick? I was mooching round town the other week, and I happened to wander in to a branch of USC. Now, this isn't a shop I usually frequent, but on this occasion, I'm glad I did. Playing on the house system was 'Lovesick' by Lindstrom and Christabelle. How this slipped past me when it was released in late 2009, I will never know. ASAP, I procured myself a copy and set about making a more DJ friendly version. And here it is. Sunday, 22 March 2009. The first post of 2009 and erm. ever, for that matter, is an edit I finished recently of 'Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing' by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. This has had the thumbs up from those most venerable chaps at Ooft. Who along with The Revenge. Release tracks and edits that always carry a guaranteed seal of unsurpassed quality. Tuesday, 25 May 2010. When I stumbled across this little pearl by Sharon Bailey, I just had to tweak it. It's full of spaced out, swirly disco wonder and a rich dollop of mean guitars. Fantastic. Sharon Bailey was one of the founder members of Amazulu. A British Ska and new wave band in the 80s, although this came out on Salsoul in 1981. It's a simple number, A-B structure, with some added beef and a bit of a rearrange. Have a listen via the soundcloud player, PM me there for a DL. Now go and git some.

Sunday, 5 July 2009. Check Out Our Crews. Very Very can now be found DJing in Cruise Jeans. Newcastle upon Tyne, on saturday afternoons. We believe there should be more daytime DJing and dancing. I mean really, why is dancing reserved for evenings and late at night? Well we're buckin' the trend. Go into town, have a cuppa, get some shopping in and why not have a little dance when you're done?
