The church was built 1931-1932 at the exact same place where the old wooden church from the 18th century stood. The altarpiece. Is from the old church from the 18th century. During the lease period of Porkkala the church was used as a saloon and a cinema. The restoration costs reached 10 million. Phone 358 40 5418526.

Each class has their own teacher. The school was built in 1961, but it's been built out twice, in 1993 and 2003, as the number of pupils has grown. After school club - Eftis. Degerbyn kylä sijaitsee Inkoon itäosassa, noin viisikymmentä kilometriä Helsingistä länteen. Kylässämme on tuhat vakituista asukasta ja saman verran vapaa-ajan asukkaita. Degerbyn historiaa leimaa Porkkalan parenteesi eli vuokra-aika Neuvostoliitolle sotien jälkeen vuosina 1944 1956. Degerbyläisiä pidetään itsenäisinä ja määrätietoisina. Näitä ominaisuuksia tarvittiin erityisesti silloin, kun uudisrakentaminen pääsi vauhtiin Porkkalan vuokra-ajan päätyttyä. Valitettavasti tapahtumia ei löydy.
