I'm definitely not a therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist- my psychology training has largely been through the educational field and a couple of classes in college. As such, I'm not really qualified to give. Opinions on anything concerning mental illness. I've battled depression from the age of eight, though I've only been clinically diagnosed with it once at 12. My depression has seemed to hit me in 4-year cycles, first around age 8 and then again around age 12, 16, 20, and worst when I was 24 (which was when I nearly committed suicide). First Occurrence: Age 8-10. Second Occurrence: Age 12-14. Third Occurrence: Age 15-19. Fourth Occurrence: Age 19-21. Fifth Occurrence: Age 24. A Summary of My Experiences. Fonts: High Tower Text.
