Friday, June 29, 2012. We ventured to the hot and windy state of Nebraska for our first family camping trip! Derrick and I have been debating for 3 years now if we should attempt to camp with pack 'n plays and baby food. I'm glad we decided to wait. These outdoor excursions are called "adventures" for a reason, and this trip was no different. We arrived literally with about 15 minutes to pop our tent up and throw everything we'd need for the night in it before IT POURED RAIN, BLEW CRAZY WIND and HAILED.

Wednesday, November 6, 2013. It was a beautiful season this year around here.sun, leaves, warm days and crisp nights. We grew 3 small pumpkins in our garden this summer, actually that's ALL we grew. Emily Isabella and Olivia Marie. Saturday, October 26, 2013. Olivia went with me to Anderson Farms when I went with my students. She loved finding the perfect, unique pumpkin. She also enjoyed the barrel ride, tractor ride, and feeding the goats. Olivia went through this maze for 20-30 minutes, over and over. She loved it.
