Sunday, April 18, 2010. The adventures of picking out "Cooper"! The weekend finally arrived! It was not just a normal weekend, but it was the weekend that Aaron has awaited for 24 years. Saturday, May 7, 2011. For Easter Caitlin and I tried out a new recipe. cake pops! They were a hit! Although it was a 5 hour long process, they were worth every minute. Below you will see the steps to these wonderful party favors, holiday center pieces, birthday treats, or just a yummy dessert. First you bake a cake, let it cool, and mix it with one tub of your favorite frosting. We used red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting. We also did rainbow chip cake with vanilla frosting. This weekend we were able to spend it doing two wonderful things: going to the cabin for the first time this spring and spending the weekend with my nephews! Dylan and Seth are a complete joy to be around. They loved meeting Cooper for the first time and they definitely wore him out! Dylan fell in love with Cooper! Cooper's first trip to the cabin!
