A visit to the Derwent and fishing with John is one of our angling highlights of the year. The service offered is one to one guided fly fishing based at Fisherman’s Cottage, East Ayton. The day starts with light refreshments at Fisherman’s Cottage, unless you are staying overnight beforehand, when it starts with breakfast (see below) before heading upstream and getting on the water by approximately 10.30 am. Derwent Diggers – Gardening club
The Derwent Diggers Gardening Club is a social gardening club based in Malton and Norton-on- Derwent (North Yorkshire) and including the surrounding area. The first meeting was held in February 2004, since then we have met once a month, usually on the first Monday of the month. In the summer months we organise visits to gardens of interest to members.
