Sunday, January 14, 2007. Mid-January and Michigan finally has some snow! I had put away Nathan's gloves, hat, boots, etc. since it looked like we would never get any, so today when we needed them.I couldn't remember where I put them. So yes, he has socks on his hands and yes, I forgot to cut the tag off his newer hat. We weren't sure he really liked the snow, but he did have a sled ride down the driveway with dad, made a few snowballs and attempted to make a snow angel. Posted by Jen @ 12:36 PM.

Monday, December 25, 2006. What a wonderful week we had with our families! Of course, we missed a few very important people and we hope to see them before the end of the year too! Despite John's non-stop work schedule over the weekend and holiday, he found a way to keep his eyes open and fight the urge to get some very needed sleep long enough to visit Rochester and Jackson for some festive celebrations during the few hours he was away from the hospital! Monday, December 25, 2006. Merry Christmas to you two TOO! After another night shift, John called Grumpy limo service and came down to Jackson for presents, a wonderful meal, complete with homemade noodles and a little sleep before the Mommy limo company look him back for another night shift tonight. I think I successfully managed to stay out of any pictures although this was the only year I can remember ever having showered before opening presents so I should have jumped into every shot!

Thursday, January 04, 2007. After the the movie we had regained our appetite and walked the streets trying to find some authentic Chicago-style pizza. Sweet nectar.we hit Pizzeria Due (the sister restaurant of Pizzeria Uno) and shared a small pan! The deep dish takes a while to bake and since it was after 10pm when we arrived.we were hungry and not happy! See what good pizza can do to your mood?
