I have a new car! I am now the owner of a 2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5i. Dark dark gray. Though I was personally leaning towards the Toyota, the combined efforts of Toyota (dropping all incentives last month), many financial institutions and my own banged up credit steered me to the Subaru. A few weeks ago, I was in my kitchen making some breakfast. I had decided on an omelet - leftover ham, shallot, garlic and cheese. My plan was to dice up the shallot, ham and garlic, saute them together, add the egg, melt the cheese equals tasty! The best laid plans of mice and me only get as far as dicing the shallot. Did I mention that I have a pretty new and deadly sharp santoku knife? It's wonderful, cuts through my left middle fingertip about as easily as a shallot. I found this out the hard way.
