Monday, September 9, 2013. After that we got something to eat. The kids had a cheese quesadilla that was really good, but the best thing we had was the milk. We bought a half gallon of whole chocolate milk that was AMAZING! We drank it all! Feeling the cud inside the cows stomach. Matching up the pieces to make a cow shape. Doing a picture rubbing. Trying to milk a cow. Calvin tried his hand at it. Aubrey on the pedal tractor - she was almost too big. Coye just pushed around. Jumping on the trampoline.

Tuesday, April 16, 2013. I just want to take a second to brag about my husband. He's been incredible the past few months so I just thought I'd share. :). The guy works incredibly hard - sometimes to the point of exhaustion. He's feeding out cattle, farming, and working his full-time construction business. Sometimes all of the long hours seem endless and I'd just like to have him to ourselves for awhile, but I know that he is working this hard to provide for us and to give us everything he can. Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Danielle's been running for several years and has gotten mom to start back up again too. They've done 5K's, half marathons, and Danielle's even run the Chicago marathon twice. I've always thought they were crazy - who likes to run? But last spring, Danielle sent us all a text wondering if we wanted to run the Hot Chocolate 5K in Chicago this fall. I thought, 3 miles, yuck! I can't wait to run in another one. Now, if I could just get my knee straightened out. Coye the koi fish.

Wednesday, May 22, 2013. I saw this idea on Pinterest and love it. You take a picture of your child at the end of the year and then do an interview with them. Put the interview on the picture and then keep them every year until they graduate. You then put them together in a book for them and they have a list of things they loved at each age. Wednesday, August 21, 2013. First Day of School. Today was the girls' first day of school - a day I've been dreading for the past month. I've loved having them home with me and was not at all ready to send them back to school today. But they were so excited and anxious to go. I can't believe that they are in second grade and kindergarten. Where has the time gone? He's now a little fish swimming all around (slowly but at least he can do it) with his life jacket. She's become quite the little fishy too.

Monday, January 6, 2014. There's a continuous loop with several songs that lasts about 20 minutes. We stayed to watch the whole thing almost twice. The kids loved it too!
