Living with it so sweet or not so sweet? UH-oh before bed reading is 4.1 belowe 4.5 which = eat to treat. Basically DAFNE says that if your blood sugar falls below 4.5 but not below 3.5 you are not clinically ‘hypo’ (low blood sugar) so you just need to eat 1-2 units of carbs which equates to 10g of carbs so a biscuit or slice of bread whatevs. However as my blood sugar was well high just before i went to bed which means it’s dropping fast and may drop more. So……. blog writing is seriously a new thing to me so bare with and see how it goes, I never even kept a diary as a kid, barely kept my blood glucose monitoring diary! I am TYPE 1 diabetic and to those who don’t have the condition don’t really seem to know anything about it or have a vague made up idea about it that they get from i have no idea where. “which one are you the one who needs sugar or the one who doesn’t?
