Tuesday, November 22, 2011. My copy is a reprint from 1961. A small sketch I made, because Pooh is of course always thinking about honey. The left side of the endpapers. I love the tradition of maps in endpapers. The right side. It is so sweet to think that if I were to visit the 100 aker wood I would know exactly where to go. Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Building blocks. of text. This is one of the first pages of my book. Notice how the text is very hard to read because of the background color. There is also a lot going on in the picture so the text needs breathing space as well so your eyes can pay attention to it. I drew a paper with folded corners and put in behind the text to maker it stand out and easier to read. Hopefully it also anchors the picture and makes your eye move around the page.
