Layla's Classic Rock: RRHOF vs Ed Sullivan
http://laylasclassicrock.blogspot.com/2009/11/rrhof-vs-ed-sullivan.html
November 29, 2009. RRHOF vs Ed Sullivan. Ok, all the COOL (and lucky) people got to watch the RRHOF concert on HBO tonight. I am watching a public TV station doing "Ed Sullivan's Rock and Roll", which, is classic. I rather be watching what Starr talks about (see comments on the last post) but I will settle for Herman's Hermits, The Animals, The Beatles, The Doors, The Stones. Ladies and Gentlemen, the ROLLING stones". They won't allow me to embed the vid, but its worth a cruise over to YouTube. Scrolling...

Layla's Classic Rock: Freddie, You Are Missed
http://laylasclassicrock.blogspot.com/2011/11/freddie-you-are-missed.html
November 24, 2011. Freddie, You Are Missed. 20 years ago today, we lost him. There will never be another Freddie Mercury. I have the Live Aid 4 disc DVD package. They put on one of the (I think) greatest preformances that whole day, and yes he is still missed along with the late great Eric Carr, drummer for Kiss who died the same day ironicly enough. One to AIDS and one to THE BIG C in one day. very sad. Two great losses in the rock world. This comment has been removed by the author. Sean, Amen to this:.

October 14, 2011. Music Still in My Soul. It kills me that I have let this blog fall to the wayside. If you would have told me I'd stop writing here my response would have been, "yeah, right! Why would I ever do that! Now I write about heroin addiction and how its affected my life. And continues to challenge me daily to stay strong, to realize I have no control over my son, and to just keeping hoping for the best and sending good thoughts out to the universe. Love ya, Seano. Layla's Classic Rock: Robbin Crosby - a sad story
http://laylasclassicrock.blogspot.com/2008/06/robbin-crosby-sad-story.html
June 13, 2008. Robbin Crosby - a sad story. Was just riding my exercise bike and watching VH1 Classics, they had a show on featuring RATT. Before I knew it my cycling had stopped and I was glued to the interviews and film clips of the band. Plus, its hard to peddle when you feel like crying and that's how I felt when I saw Robbin on the screen. So many lives claimed by drugs. It seems to be a typical scenario, the most sensitive person in the band ends up the drug addict. He had no clue. It sounded horri...
