The Left Side of Crochet

List of Free Patterns. Tuesday, November 18, 2014. The snow is falling and the wind is howling here in Ohio but I'm thinking Spring! I actually finished this one a few months ago, but I'm still in love with the colors and am having a hard time dealing with the fact that I'll be letting it go soon. I may just have to make another one. :). If you'd like to make one too, the free pattern is available as a PDF on Ravelry. Or on my blog here. Linking up here: Hookin On Hump Day. Links to this post. The Left Side of Crochet: May 2013

http://dishclothdiaries.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

List of Free Patterns. Sunday, May 26, 2013. Saturday's Smile- Summer Vacation! Okay, I'm a day late, but it's vacation time so I'm allowed to be lazy, right? In my future skills/day 7. Post from blog week. I expressed my desire to make myself a pair of socks. Well I completed my first pair! They are actually slippers made with Wool-ease, a worsted weight wool blend. I used Mary McCall's Short Row Heel Socks. Pattern. I can't believe how incredibly easy they were! Links to this post. I've been making hats.

The Left Side of Crochet: June 2012

http://dishclothdiaries.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

List of Free Patterns. Sunday, June 3, 2012. As you already know, I love to design original crochet patterns and I've shared many of those designs with you over the past several years. I've so enjoyed seeing the projects you've created with them and how you personalize those patterns with your own ingenuity and color sense. These are my current designs for sale. I hope you like them as much as I enjoyed designing them! Finished size is 15 x 12.5 inches, (not including straps). Whip up a few to display as...

The Left Side of Crochet: Oh well...

http://dishclothdiaries.blogspot.com/2013/07/oh-well.html

List of Free Patterns. Saturday, July 6, 2013. A little over a week ago I asked for help in tracking down the pattern for this wreath. A friend was able to track down the blog that was related to a Flickr account where the picture is posted. I attempted to contact the blog owner but haven't heard anything. I'm disappointed, but I will just have to use this as motivation to come up with something else on my own. :). Thank you to everyone who helped in the search! July 19, 2013 at 10:55 PM. Hi, welcome and...

Cosmic Creations: April 2010

http://cosmiccreeperscreations.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Crochet, Knitting, Art and Craft. Thursday, April 29, 2010. I signed up for a pink swap over on. My Swap partner didn't crochet so I thought I'd make her a scarf inspired by one of Lucy's but with my own spin. After the first few motifs were done it was dubbed "The Watermelon Scarf" and the name stuck. But once finished it needed something extra so a little pink butterfly was added. Can you see it? Just there on the end. The butterfly pattern is from Suzann Thompson's book 'Crochet Bouquet'. The multi-co...

Cosmic Creations: Patterns

http://cosmiccreeperscreations.blogspot.com/p/patterns.html

Crochet, Knitting, Art and Craft. As promised, here is the new cowl/moebius pattern I have been working on. It is a simple eyelet pattern which is in multiples of two stitches. Here is a close up of the stitch pattern. It can be worked in any weight yarn (I used Malabrigo Twist Aran/ 10 ply - nice and smooshy soft. And any even number stitch count (I cast on 102 stitches). To give it a softer drape, I used 7mm circular needle rather than the recommended gauge. Easy Eyelet Cowl/Mobius Pattern. While it is...

Cosmic Creations: July 2010

http://cosmiccreeperscreations.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Crochet, Knitting, Art and Craft. Tuesday, July 13, 2010. The time has come to unveil the finished product of my latest creation - the Rambling Cowl. As I mentioned in my last post the yarn is from Jo at The Fish and the Bird. And knits up sooooo beautifully. While it is not a traditional cowl, it is also not a mobius as it is not twisted, instead I have made it longer so it can be doubled around the neck without being too constricting. To a guide on knitting in the round if you need it. Repeat rows 1-9 ...

Cosmic Creations: January 2011

http://cosmiccreeperscreations.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Crochet, Knitting, Art and Craft. Monday, January 31, 2011. Remember back in December I made this. French Market bag for Margaret? Well, I thought that as it was so fantastic (and sooo. Easy) to make that I needed one too and here it is! Nice and big to hold all sorts of projects. It's made from Lincraft Cosy Wool, which felted really nicely, and only took 3.5 balls. Not bad if I do say so myself! Now I'm working on a Lucy Bag from Attic24. Here it is at the moment. Monday, January 31, 2011.

Cosmic Creations: June 2010

http://cosmiccreeperscreations.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Crochet, Knitting, Art and Craft. Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Just in time for winter the Mermaid Mitts have been finished! They're made from Noro Silk Garden and only took 1 ball. I halved the ball before I started so I could just knit until each half was used up. The colours remind me of a mermaid, so the name stuck. Yarn: 8ply/worsted weight. 1 50gram ball. Cast on an even number of stitches (I cast on 40) and knit 2x2 rib until desired length or you run out of wool ;). Make 2. Tuesday, June 01, 2010.
