We are delighted that Charlotte and Jake competed in their first competition at the weekend. Charlotte has worked very hard to get to this stage and we are delighted for her and her horse Jake. She went on to say Jake is my second horse and I have had him for 7 months. I jumped 2ft 3 at Rosehill and we came 7th out of 38. New Fresh Air Fitness Equipment. Over the half-term break we had brand new Fresh Air fitness equipment installed at DPA. The students have been very excited about the new addition and have already been using it during their breaks. This is a great addition to our temporary facility and will benefit the students for years to come both on Wellington Street and when we move to SL3. Introducing the New Teaching Staff for 2016/2017. British Rowing - Taster! On the 24th June, a group of students were able to take part in a beginners rowing session hosted by British Rowing on the Jubilee river as part of their enrichment. They were taught the basic skills including how to get in and out of a boat and were then able to apply some of the techniques they had been learning in previous weeks when on the water.
