The east wing of the Hartman Interpretive Center was built in the early 1940's. Today, after decades of use, it desperately needs to be refurbished. So much needs to be done. Structural elements need replacement, according to an engineers report. A new roof and windows, and additional insulation, are needed. Adequate space for educational programs has run out.
