Friday, January 13, 2012. I'm back in the saddle after a long, much needed holiday vacation! It is good to be back, but we already miss our friends and family. This is what we have been up to:. Drew and I packed up the dogs and headed across the country to Tennessee for Christmas and New Years. We split up the drive into two days, so we drove 9 hours the first day and 5 1/2 the next. The pups loved the hotel room; however, we did not sleep at all! Famous Beckner Santa and Sleigh! Dad, Mom and aunt Joyce.

Monday, March 31, 2014. For Spring Break, we went down to Ford Plantation. We hadn't been there in a long time as a family so it was great to be there. The first part of the week, the weather wasn't very good, but it got better at the end. We had such a good time just being away for a week and enjoying a change of scenery! The first morning when we woke up, we went straight over to the Main House for breakfast. I never get tired of the view there. Such a pretty morning. Or cottontails as Carrie calls it).

Tuesday, April 23, 2013. A lot about Spring! I have a lot of catching up to do even after vowing to do better. Auction is now pretty much over and now I find myself with a little free time again! Monday, August 26, 2013. Beach Trip to Perdido. Sunday was our first day and it rained most of the morning. When it was not raining, we let the girls go down in their PJs to look for shells for a bit. When it started raining again, we headed to brunch. H had her first of many fried shrimp meals.girl loves fried shrimp just like her mama! That afternoon while the girls rested, Graham and I had a beer and played cards which was a nice break. Can you believe how big she is getting? Great for the kiddos.

Friday, November 8, 2013. This year was a really fun Halloween. I love that both the girls can enjoy things like this together now. We stuck with our tradition and went out to Gentry's Farm early in October. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun doing the playground maze, swinging on tire swings, riding the hay ride, playing in the grain boxes and picking out our pumpkins of course! We ran into friends out there which was really fun for C! Hayes could have played with the grain/corn stuff all day.

Friday, December 27, 2013. A little pre-Christmas bath with bubble "Santa Beards.". Before Christmas service at Church. After Church the Sunday before Christmas, I got to take Carrie to see the Nutcracker at TPAC. I had not planned on taking her since we had done the "mini-Nutcracker" at Harpeth Hall, but when my sweet friend Caylan offered us tickets (she works for Nashville Ballet and has taught Carrie's ballet camps) we decided to give it a shot! I was worried she wouldn't make it through, but she did!
