Drew Photo Sacha

Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Maddy is a great photographer who loves to tell stories with her pictures. She captures motion and emotion in a way that really captivates people. I love her big series project because they told interesting stories and showed great use of sequences and triptics. Reid is a very creative and interesting photographer who finds shots to look very abnormal and creepy(in a good way). His triptic photographs are very well put together and interesting. You can tell he made alot...Steph...

Wednesday, March 23, 2011. March 24, 2011 at 9:34 AM. I love the first photograph and how sharp it is. I like how you got so close to the bike and focused on a certain aspect of it. This bike series looks really good and strong. The third one is less strong than the others, but has an interesting look to it because its out of focus. Good job so far! March 14, 2011 at 10:23 AM. I really like your bike series. The color is great and all the movement in the bikes are really interesting. The second image of the bike looks like its in motion. Thursday, March 10, 2011. March 14, 2011 at 10:20 AM. Your bike series looks challenging, but youve managed to get different types and make them stand out from each other. I really like this photo because the bike is isolated and is able to express the emotion of loneliness. I think now the next step is to look for moving bicycles and capture them in motion. Drew Photo Sacha: Final Series

http://www.drewphotosacha-sacha.blogspot.com/2011/03/final-series.html

Tuesday, March 29, 2011. I chose these images to make up my final draft because they were my favorites and I felt that they were the best pictures from the bunch. I looked at the photos I thought were the most bold from each draft I had. I especially enjoyed the ones with deep contrasts and bright hues. I like the bikes to come alive. March 30, 2011 at 1:26 PM. I love these photos! March 31, 2011 at 8:55 AM. March 31, 2011 at 9:27 AM. I really like your theme of bikes of all kinds! Your final draft is mu...

http://drewphotocarly.blogspot.com/2011/03/grid-series-project.html

Thursday, March 10, 2011. March 14, 2011 at 10:21 AM. A good start. try to create more flow across the grid sections with a change of values or color. you might experiment with b&w images- remember to edit their values/exposure before importing to grid feature on piknic. March 14, 2011 at 10:23 AM. These photos are very cool i like how u did one full of all green and then one of all brown photos they are very nice! March 14, 2011 at 10:27 AM. Thursday, January 27, 2011. Thursday, January 20, 2011. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. The Cartier-Bresson show was interesting to me because of the way that there were topics for groups of photos, for example there is the section of Soviet Moscow. The way that there were compartmentalized topics for his work helped you better see the essence of that place and time and step back and see the pictures as a whole. Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Drew Photo Carly: Team Project

http://drewphotocarly.blogspot.com/2011/04/team-project.html

Tuesday, April 19, 2011. For this project we had to take photos of everyone in our class and write a paragraph about their style of photography. For my project, I chose to use a them in order to portray each "team member". Carlos has a style of his very own. His photos are very dark and creepy and tend to be taken at weird angles. His most impressive work was his street photography. Carlos' photos were eery and moving at the same time. His stalker-nature of the photos made for a very inte...Reid's style ...

Drew Photo Reid: September 2010

http://drewphotoreid.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Thursday, September 16, 2010. In this project, I walked around the block near London Market and took pictures of the city scape. I was especially looking for shapes and interesting features on buildings. When i was editing i decided to make all of the pictures different shades of green, and rotated many of the pictures. When i rotated them, theyhad a sort effect like i saw in the movie Inception. Friday, September 10, 2010. Thursday, September 2, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://drewphotoreid.blogspot.com/2011/05/rule-of-thirds.html

Monday, May 16, 2011. May 18, 2011 at 1:04 PM. These photos are great. I especially like the ones with me in them. The photo with the pine street sign showcases the rule of thirds perfectly. May 19, 2011 at 9:28 AM. Reid I really like these photos but in some i find it hard to see the rule of thirds present. Maybe because i get distracted by the back rounds , there is a lot going on in them. May 19, 2011 at 9:37 AM. The one of Isaac in the corner is great! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Wednesday, May 18, 2011. This project was difficult for me. I kept getting the dimensions wrong and making objects to big or too small. Once I got help from my teacher my photos improved. I took a lot of pictures and continued to revise them and get feedback. I tried to take pictures with very minimal background as well as pictures with interesting backgrounds. For these photos we worked with depth again, we made the camera focus on things that were close and blur out the rest. Reid - Reid's photos are always interesting, they not only make you laugh at times but can also scare you quit a lot! http://drewphotoreid.blogspot.com/2011/04/blast-from-past.html

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Blast From The Past". I went to Lego land when I was six and it was awesome at the time. I watched the Aristocats a lot when I was really young. I went to Disney Land when I was 5 or 6 and it was magical-ish. Spiderman was my favorite superhero when I was a kid and I had lots of action figures. Wily Coyote was a favorite character of mine in cartoons. Jungle book was one of my favorite movies in my younger childhood. Bugs bunny was my all time favorite cartoon as a child.

Thursday, May 28, 2015. These are a collection of my best posts this year, I have enjoyed taking these photos a lot and these are mix of my macro, symmetry, long exposure and portraits. Monday, May 18, 2015. Alistair - I tried to use his pictures of silhouettes in his picture, with adding effects on. Max - I used inspiration from his portraits to take his photo. Ian - I tried to recreate his funky effects with picmonkey. Cora - I used her interesting views in photos to create this photo. Close up of cars.

I tried to paint over her face, but I couldn't figure out a good way to do it so this was the result. I am sorry for ruining this picture. For this, I tried to get her style of fashion photography.
